ฮัจญ์ ศาสนพิธีที่เก่าแก่และใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก

ฮัจญ์เป็นพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก เพราะมันเป็นการปฏิบัติศาสนกิจที่มนุษย์ต่างเชื้อชาติ เผ่าพันธุ์ สีผิวและภาษานับล้านคนจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกไปปฏิบัติในวัน เวลาและสถานที่เดียวกันด้วยหัวใจศรัทธาในพระเจ้าองค์เดียว  ฮัจญ์เป็นศาสนพิธีที่เก่าแก่ที่สุด อย่างน้อยก็ไม่ต่ำกว่าสามพันปีและเป็นที่ปฏิบัติเรื่อยมาจนกว่าจะถึงวันสิ้นโลก

เนื่องจากหมุดหมายแห่งการเริ่มต้นพิธีฮัจญ์คือก๊ะอฺบ๊ะฮฺที่เป็นอาคารทรงสี่เหลี่ยมจตุรัสกลางหุบเขาบักก๊ะฮฺในเมืองมักก๊ะฮฺ ประเทศซาอุดิอาระเบีย  ผู้เขียนจึงอยากทำความเข้าใจให้คนทั่วไปได้รู้ถึงที่มาและความสำคัญของมัน

ก๊ะอฺบ๊ะฮฺแปลว่าอาคารทรงสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส  ถูกเรียกอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่าบัยตุลลลอฮฺซึ่งแปลว่าบ้านของพระเจ้า เพราะอาคารหลังนี้ถูกสร้างโดยนบีอิบรอฮีมตามคำบัญชาของอัลลอฮฺเพื่อใช้เป็นสถานที่เคารพสักการะพระองค์ผู้ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าแต่เพียงผู้เดียว

ในคัมภีร์กุรอาน  บัยตุลลอฮฺยังถูกเรียกว่า “บัยตุลอะตีก” ซึ่งหมายถึงบ้านโบราณ  เพราะก่อนหน้าอับราฮัมหรือนบีอิบรอฮีม  บ้านหลังนี้มีอยู่ก่อนแล้ว แต่ได้ทรุดโทรมและพังหายไปตามกาลเวลา คงเหลือไว้แต่รากฐานของบ้าน  จึงมีตำนานเล่าขานกันว่าเดิมทีบ้านหลังนี้ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยอาดัม  แต่ตำนานก็คือตำนานที่ปราศจากหลักฐานอันน่าเชื่อถือ

คัมภีร์กุรอานกล่าวชัดว่าพระเจ้าได้สั่งให้นบีอิบรอฮีมสร้างบ้านขึ้นมาบนรากฐานของบ้านโบราณที่ปรากฏร่องรอยอยู่  นบีอิบรอฮีมจึงสร้างบัยตุลลอฮฺขึ้นมาบนรากฐานของบ้านโบราณโดยมีอิสมาอีลบุตรคนแรกเป็นผู้ช่วย  วัสดุที่ใช้ในการสร้างบัยตุลลอฮฺก็คือหินตามธรรมชาติที่หาได้ในบริเวณนั้น

เมื่อสร้างเสร็จแล้ว  นบีอิบรอฮีมได้วิงวอนขอบางสิ่งต่อพระเจ้าซึ่งพระองค์ได้ตอบรับ 

สื่งแรก   เนื่องจากท่านไม่รู้ถึงวิธีการเคารพสักการะพระองค์  ท่านจึงขอพระองค์ให้บอกถึงวิธีการ  ตรงนั้นเองที่พระเจ้าได้สอนวิธีการละหมาดและการทำพิธีฮัจญ์ให้ และสั่งท่านให้ออกไปเรียกร้องเชิญชวนผู้คนมาเคารพสักการะพระองค์ที่นั่น

สิ่งที่สอง  ท่านขอให้มักก๊ะฮฺเป็นเมืองที่ปลอดภัยสำหรับผู้ศรัทธาที่มาแสดงความเคารพสักการะพระองค์  ขอผลไม้หลากชนิดให้ลูกหลานของท่านในวันข้างหน้า  พระเจ้าตอบรับคำวิงวอนของท่านโดยให้คนในเมืองมักก๊ะฮฺมีผลไม้หลากหลายชนิดกินตลอดทั้งปีทั้งๆที่เมืองมักก๊ะฮฺไม่สามารถปลูกต้นไม้ได้

สิ่งที่สาม ท่านขอให้ลูกหลานของท่านได้เป็นผู้นำประชาชาติทั้งหลาย พระเจ้าตอบรับคำวิงวอนนี้โดยการให้ลูกหลานของท่านเป็นศาสนทูตหรือนบีในหมู่มนุษย์  นบีที่ชาวยิว ชาวคริสเตียนและชาวมุสลิมเคารพนับถือล้วนเป็นลูกหลานของนบีอิบรอฮีมทั้งสิ้น

สิ่งที่สี่  นบีอิบรอฮีมรู้ว่าหลังจากท่านจากโลกนี้ไป  ผู้คนรวมทั้งลูกหลานของท่านจะออกนอกลู่นอกทางห่างไกลพระเจ้า  ท่านจึงวิงวอนขอพระเจ้าให้มีศาสนทูตคนหนึ่งขึ้นในหมู่ลูกหลานของท่านเพื่อมาสอนความรู้และคัมภีร์  พระเจ้าได้ตอบรับคำวิงวอนท่านด้วยการให้มีนบีมุฮัมมัดกำเนิดขึ้นในหมู่ชาวอาหรับผู้เป็นเชื้อสายของอิสมาอีล

Hajj is the oldest religious rite, at least three thousand years old and has been practiced until the end of the world.

Since the starting point of the Hajj is the Kaaba, a square building in the middle of the Bagh Valley in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the author would like to make people understand its origin and importance.

Kaaba means a square building. It is also called the House of Allah, because this building was built by the Prophet Ibrahim according to the command of Allah to be used as a place to worship Him, who is the only God.

In the Quran, the House of Allah is also called “Baitul Ateeq” means the ancient house because before Abraham or the Prophet Ibrahim, this house already existed, but it deteriorated and collapsed over time, leaving only the foundation of the house. Therefore, there is a legend that this house was originally built by Adam. But the legend is a legend without reliable evidence.

The Quran clearly states that God ordered the Prophet Ibrahim to build a house on the foundation of the ancient house that has traces. The Prophet Ibrahim therefore built the Baytullah on the foundation of the ancient house with the help of his first son Ismail. The materials used to build the Baytullah were natural stones found in that area.

When it was finished, the Prophet Ibrahim asked God for something, which He accepted.

First, because he did not know how to worship Him, he asked Him to tell him how. It was there that God taught him how to pray and perform the Hajj. And he ordered him to go out and call people to worship him there.

Second, he asked for Mecca to be a safe city for the believers who come to worship him. Ask for a variety of fruits for his children in the future. God answered his prayer by giving the people of Mecca a variety of fruits to eat all year round, even though Mecca could not grow trees.

Third, he asked for his children to be leaders of the nations. God answered this prayer by making his children a messenger or prophet among mankind. The prophets that Jews, Christians and Muslims respect were all descendants of the prophet Ibrahim.

Fourth, the prophet Ibrahim knew that after he left this world, people including his descendants would stray away from God. So he asked God to raise a prophet among his descendants to teach knowledge and the Book. God answered his prayer by giving birth to the prophet Muhammad among the Arabs who were descendants of Ismail.

When the prophet Ibrahim left Mecca, no matter who he met along the way, He would call the people to worship God at the Baytullah. From then on, the Baytullah became the religious center of the monotheistic believers. As more and more believers gathered to worship, Mecca became a community, a city, and eventually an important center of trade.

The Old Testament Bible, Psalm 84:1-12, tells of the pilgrimage of the believers to “Baka”, that is, the Bakkha Valley, where the cities of Mecca and the Ka’bah are located.
