คัมภีร์กุรอานคือวจนะสุดท้ายที่พระเจ้าประทานแก่มนุษย์เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตผ่านทางมุฮัมมัดขณะมีอายุได้ 40 ปี การได้รับสาส์นจากพระเจ้านี่เองที่ทำให้มุฮัมมัดได้รับสถานะเป็นทั้งนบี(ผู้บอกข่าว,ผู้ตักเตือน) และเป็นศาสนทูตผู้นำสาส์นของพระเจ้า(รอซูลุลลอฮฺ)
การประทานกุรอานครั้งแรกมีขึ้นที่ถ้ำฮิรอ บนภูเขาแห่งรัศมี ชานเมืองมักก๊ะฮฺ และถูกประทานต่อเนื่องกันมาในสถานการณ์ต่างๆเป็นเวลา 23 ปี การประทานคัมภีร์กุรอานจึงครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ขณะที่นบีมุฮัมมัดอยู่ในเมืองมะดีนะฮฺ

The Quran is the last word that God gave to mankind to guide their lives through Muhammad when he was 40 years old. Receiving a message from God was what made Muhammad have the status of both a prophet (a teller, a warner) and a messenger who brought the message of God (the Messenger of Allah).
The first revelation of the Quran occurred in the Cave of Hira on the Mount of Light, on the outskirts of Mecca, and was continuously revealed in various situations for 23 years. The revelation of the Quran was therefore complete while the Prophet Muhammad was in Medina.
The Quran consists of passages of varying lengths. Each passage is not called a sentence, but is called an “ayat”, which means “signs”, “evidence”, “wonders” that confirm the existence of God because the Quran confirms that the Prophet Muhammad did not write it himself and people at that time knew that the Prophet Muhammad was illiterate. Not only that The Quran also challenges humans to brainstorm and compose a passage that is similar to the Quran, and to this day no one has been able to fulfill the challenge.
The revelation of God to the Prophet Muhammad and previous prophets is called “Revelation” in Arabic. In the language of the Bible, the English word is Revelation, which means the secret revelation of something to someone.
Modern humans communicate with each other through telephone signals that humans cannot see and do not know what a telephone signal looks like. But God uses angels who are created from light as a medium to send messages to the Prophet. When the Prophet receives the message, each prophet has the duty to deliver that message to the people in the language of each prophet.
Before the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the recorded words of God were damaged by destruction due to war or the materials on which the words were written were damaged and edited when the new compilation was distorted. Therefore, God gave the last words to the Prophet Muhammad as a guideline for life until the end of the world.
The Prophet Muhammad said that the Quran and the previous scriptures were revealed in the month of Ramadan at different times. When the Prophet Muhammad received the words of God from heaven, he would recite them to his followers and instruct them to memorize and record them on local materials such as leather, animal hip bones, and date palms.
The Quran was recited every day during prayers and during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, thousands of followers were able to memorize the entire Quran. However, after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, there were many wars and many followers who had memorized the Quran died. Therefore, his close followers took the initiative to compile the Quran into a book.
The compilation of the Quran was done by organizing a working group of followers who had memorized the entire Quran. After that, it was announced that those who recorded the words of God on various materials would collect them together and check the accuracy of each recording. When the order of the verses of the Quran was arranged correctly, the entire text was recorded as the original. The materials that recorded the words of the Quran were all destroyed. After that, when the Islamic land expanded, copies were sent to important cities to be used as a standard reference.
The Quran has never been changed, edited or rewritten. Therefore, Muslims of all nations recite the Quran in the same words that the Prophet Muhammad and his followers recited. The Arabic language in the Quran is an immortal language and is one of the official languages of the United Nations. Muslims recite the Quran every day. In addition, there are millions of Muslims around the world who have memorized the entire Quran, and most of them are children. If the religious book of the world were to be destroyed in any way, the Quran would be restored very quickly because it is all in the memory of Muslims around the world.
