จักรวาลดำรงอยู่อย่างสงบเพราะดาวแต่ละดวงยอมอยู่ในกฎที่พระเจ้าสร้างไว้ควบคุมมัน  ไม่ต่างไปจากอวัยวะในร่างกายเราที่พระเจ้าสร้างขึ้นมาและวางกฎทางชีวภาพไว้ควบคุมมัน  ถ้าอวัยวะในร่างกายทุกชิ้นปฏิบัติตามกฎ  ร่างกายของมนุษย์ก็เป็นปรกติสุข  ถ้าอวัยวะสำคัญไม่ปฏิบัติตามกฎเมื่อใด  ชีวิตมนุษย์ก็มีปัญหาเมื่อนั้น

เมื่อพระเจ้าสร้างกฎขึ้นมาไว้ควบคุมทุกสิ่งที่พระองค์ทรงสร้าง  มีหรือที่พระเจ้าจะไม่สร้างกฎที่เรียกว่ากฎหมายไว้ควบคุมมนุษย์?    กฎหมายเก่าแก่ที่สุดและยังมีร่องรอยหลักฐานให้เราเห็นอยู่ก็คือโตราห์ซึ่งเป็นกฎหมายที่พระเจ้าประทานแก่โมเสสเพื่อนำไปใช้กับพวกลูกหลานอิสราเอล

กฎธรรมชาติกับกฎหมายของพระเจ้าต่างกันตรงที่ทุกสรรพสิ่งภายใต้กฎธรรมชาติล้วนเชื่อฟังอย่างไม่ฝ่าฝืนเพราะมันไม่มีสติปัญญา ไม่รู้ว่าอะไรดีและอะไรชั่ว  มันจึงไม่ต้องรับผิดชอบ  ผิดกับมนุษย์ที่พระเจ้าให้สติปัญญารู้ดีรู้ชั่วและมีเสรีภาพที่จะเลือก  ดังนั้น มนุษย์จึงต้องรับผิดชอบในสิ่งที่ตัวเองเลือก

It is no different from the organs in our body that God created and placed biological laws to control them. If every organ in the body followed the rules The human body is normal and happy. When does a vital organ fail to follow the rules? Human life has problems then.

When God created laws to govern everything He created, Would God not have created laws to govern humans? The most ancient and surviving law is the Torah, the law given to Moses by God for the children of Israel.

The difference between natural law and God's law is that everything under natural law obeys without violation because it is not intelligent. I don't know what is good and what is bad. Therefore, it is not responsible. Unlike humans, God has given them the wisdom to know good and evil and the freedom to choose. Therefore, humans must be responsible for their own choices.

Every law must have sovereignty or supreme authority that those under the law must obey. So is the law for humans. The Ten Commandments of the Mosaic Torah begin with this declaration of God's sovereignty and obedience.

1. Worship the Lord. Your only God

2. Do not use the name of the Lord in vain.

3. Remember to celebrate the Lord's Day as a holy day.

4. Respect your parents.

5. Don't kill people.

6. Do not commit adultery.

7. Don't steal.

8. Do not lie and slander others.

9. Do not commit adultery.

10. Do not acquire other people's property.

Therefore, the Torah is not a book that is read during religious ceremonies. But it is a law that has commands and prohibitions like criminal law. There are also penalties. The difference between God's law and man-made law is that the sovereignty of God's law belongs to God. We can see that modern law prohibits and punishes disobedience to God's commands. Because such wrongdoing is something that the common sense that God created in humans recognizes as bad.

God is the lawgiver. But God has given humans the ability to enforce the law so that society can be peaceful and safe. Therefore, those who enforce the law are those who know the law among humans and are honest.

So God sent Jesus Christ. “To confirm the old law” means to confirm the Law of Moses. But because his reaffirmation of the Old Law offended the financially powerful Jews.
