For example, the Jews said: “We are God's children and His beloved.” Jews sometimes claimed that Abraham was Jewish in order to make Arabs proud of their Jewishness. But the Quran denies that Abraham was a Jew. Jews sometimes claim that “We are God's children and His beloved,” and “The fire of hell will not touch us. And if it touches us It will only be for a few days.” Perhaps the Jews said, “God is poor. But we are rich.”
