When people answer that they believe So he said: “I warn you that after this world a world of severe torment awaits you if you do not believe in Allah as the One God and disobey Him.”

Such words caused great dissatisfaction among the Meccan leaders. One of his elder relatives then came out and shouted at him and sarcastically said, “You yelled at us to come out here. Just to tell us this? Where is your God? In the date palm garden or in the valley or on the moon Is your god made of stone or wood or copper?”

Therefore, God put it in his heart to make His qualities known to the people there. Even if the leaders turn a deaf ear But many people there began to think. And when those people turn to believe in Islam Those people were subjected to persecution and torture to make them abandon their faith in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.

After that, Meccan leaders resorted to discrediting the Prophet Muhammad by accusing him of being possessed by demons. Some are insane or use myths to deceive people. But strangely, no one accused him of being a liar.

Prophet Muhammad did not respond to any slander. But it seemed that the slander only made people more interested in him. Therefore, the Meccan chiefs made a proposal to Muhammad that if he wanted property or a young woman or power, They will provide you with everything in exchange for stopping the spread of Islamic teachings. But all such offers were rejected by him.

When trust-destroying methods and bribery are ineffective The Meccan leaders approached the Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib, who remained neutral despite not believing in Islam. They begged Abu Talib to dissuade his grandson from spreading Islamic teachings. But Prophet Muhammad confirmed to his uncle that “Even if you put the sun in your right hand and the moon in your left hand, I will not give up on what I have been given to me by God.”

When he heard such an answer The chiefs of Mecca resorted to conciliation. They proposed to the Prophet Muhammad: “Let's put it this way. So that we can live together peacefully. We will worship Allah your Lord for one month. and next month Should you take turns worshiping the things we worship?”

When receiving an offer for compromise like this God therefore commanded the Prophet Muhammad to answer: “I will not worship your God, nor shall you worship my God. Each person worships the god he or she respects. They practice their religion. As for me, I will follow my religion.”

When the leaders of Makkah, especially the leaders of the Quraysh, a tribe respected and respected by all the tribes in the Arab land, heard their rejection of this offer, They began to think that when the use of the mitts did not work, it was time to resort to tough ones.
