จำได้ว่าเมื่ออยู่ในชั้นมัธยม ผมเคยอ่านนวนิยายเรื่อง “เมาคลีลูกหมาป่า” ซึ่งเป็นนวนิยายโด่งดังมากและเป็นวรรณกรรมอมตะจนทุกวันนี้ นวนิยายเรื่องนี้เขียนเมื่อประมาณร้อยปีที่แล้วโดยรัดยาร์ด คิปลิง
