ด้วยเหตุนี้ พระเจ้าจึงได้ดลใจให้นบีมุฮัมมัดตอบคนเหล่านั้นไปว่า
“จงบอกพวกเขาเถิด อัลลอฮฺ(พระเจ้า)มีหนึ่งเดียวเท่านั้น พระเจ้าไม่พึ่งพาสิ่งใด แต่ทุกสิ่งต้องพึงพาพระองค์ พระองค์ไม่ได้ให้กำเนิดผู้ใดและไม่ได้กำเนิดมาจากผู้ใด พระองค์ไม่เหมือนสิ่งใดและไม่มีสิ่งใดเหมือนพระองค์” (กุรอาน บทที่ 112)
