  After that, the Prophet Muhammad's messenger returned and reported to the Prophet that Khusro had torn up his letter. Prophet Muhammad then said that the kingdom of Khusro would be torn within the next few years.

At that time, the influence of the Persian emperor extended to Yemen. Khusro Pervez commanded Basan. The governor of Yemen had the Prophet Muhammad captured and handed over to him. Basan then sent Baboya and another assistant to Medina to carry out the orders. They appeared before the Prophet and respectfully told him that Emperor Khusro had sent them to take him away. He also said that if he did not follow orders The emperor would come and destroy the Prophet and his land.

Muslim historians say that Shiroya killed his father on the night of the 13th day of Jumad al-Awwal, 7 A.H. (628 A.D.). The Yemeni ruler's messenger was very impressed when He saw their appearance and conduct. His simple life and that of his disciples

When Basan's representatives returned to Yemen He related their impressions and the Prophet's foreword. Not long after that Basan receives news from Shiroya that Emperor Khusro has been killed because of his tyranny. In addition to that He also ordered them not to disturb the Prophet of Arabia. Eventually, Basan was convinced of the truth of the Prophet's words and converted to Islam along with many of his men.
