ด้วยเหตุนี้  เมื่อพระเจ้าส่งอาดัมมายังโลกนี้  พระองค์จึงทะยอยส่งแนวทางในการใช้ชีวิตมาให้มนุษย์ตั้งเริ่มแรก  แนวทางนี้ไม่ถูกเรียกว่าศาสนา  แต่เป็นวิธีการใช้ชีวิตที่ต้องเริ่มต้นด้วยการ “เชื่อในพระเจ้าองค์เดียว” และไม่เคารพกราบไหว้สิ่งใดนอกจากพระองค์  หลังจากเชื่อแล้วก็ต้อง “เชื่อฟังและปฏิบัติตาม” แนวทางที่พระองค์ส่งมาทางบรมครูที่เรียกว่า “นบี”  

ในคัมภีร์กุรอาน  เรารู้ว่าเมื่ออับราฮัมและอิชมาเอลสร้างบ้านของพระเจ้า (ก๊ะอฺบ๊ะฮฺ)เพื่อเป็นสถานที่เคารพสักการะพระองค์เสร็จตามคำบัญชาแล้ว  อับราฮัมวิงวอนต่อพระเจ้าให้ตัวเขาและอิชมาเอลลูกชายเป็นผู้นอบน้อมยอมตนต่อพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า นั่นคือ ถ้าพระองค์ใช้สิ่งใด  เขาทั้งสองจะทำตาม และถ้าพระเจ้าห้ามสิ่งใด เขาทั้งสองจะงดเว้น

นี่คือรากเหง้าที่มาของความเชื่อและวัฒนธรรมร่วมกันของชาวยิว ชาวคริสเตียนและชาวมุสลิม

หลังสมัยพระเยซู  ธรรมบัญญัติเดิมของพระเจ้าเริ่มผิดเพี้ยนไปจากเดิมอีกเพราะมีการสร้างแนวความคิดเรื่อง “ตรีเอกานุภาพ” ขึ้นมาแทนความศรัทธาในพระเจ้าองค์เดียว  

ด้วยเหตุนี้  หลังสมัยพระเยซู 570 ปี  พระเจ้าจึงประทานคัมภีร์กุรอานให้แก่นบีมุฮัมมัดเป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตที่ครอบคลุมพฤติกรรมของมนุษย์ทุกด้านตั้งแต่เกิดจนตาย เป็นมาตรฐานทางศีลธรรมทั้งในเรื่องครอบครัว สังคม ตลอดจนความรู้เรื่องสิ่งเร้นลับต่างๆ เช่น วิญญาณ  นรก  สวรรค์  ทูตสวรรค์และซาตาน เป็นต้น  และพระเจ้าประสงค์ให้คัมภีร์กุรอานเป็นธรรมนูญชีวิตมนุษย์ตลอดไปจนถึงวันสิ้นโลก

คำว่าอิสลามไม่เคยถูกเรียกโดยนบีคนใดก่อนหน้านบีมุฮัมมัด  ในช่วงท้ายชีวิตของท่าน  พระเจ้าได้บอกท่านว่า “แท้จริง แนวทางดำเนินชีวิตที่เป็นของพระเจ้านั้นคืออิสลาม” (กุรอาน 3:19) และ “วันนี้ ฉันได้ทำให้ความโปรดปรานของฉันเป็นที่สมบูรณ์แก่สูเจ้าแล้ว และฉันพอใจให้อิสลามเป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตสำหรับสูเจ้า และฉันพึงพอใจให้อิสลามเป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตสำหรับสูเจ้า” (กุรอาน 5:3)     

อิสลามจึงไม่ถูกเรียกว่าศาสนามุฮัมมัด  แต่อิสลามเป็นแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตที่พระเจ้าประทานแก่มนุษย์มาตลอดตั้งแต่มีมนุษย์คนแรกบนโลกใบนี้คืออาดัมและเสร็จสิ้นสมบูรณ์ในสมัยของนบีมุฮัมมัด  การปฏิบัติพิธีกรรมทางศาสนาเป็นเพียงส่วนหนึ่งของแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตที่คอยกำกับมุสลิมให้อยู่ในแนวทางจนถึงลมหายใจสุดท้ายของชีวิตเท่านั้น

God, the creator of man, said in the Quran that man was created in a weak and ignorant state. This is true. A quadruped can walk within two hours of birth and know its mother. However, it takes a human baby almost two years to walk. If the mother is left without milk after birth, the baby cannot survive.

When humans grow up, if they do not receive knowledge about life, they will live like savages.

For this reason, when God sent Adam to this world, He gradually sent a way of life to man from the beginning. This way of life is not called a religion, but a way of life that must begin with “believing in one God” and not worshiping anything except Him. After believing, one must “obey and follow” the way He sent through the great teacher called the “Prophet”.

In the Quran, we know that when Abraham and Ishmael built God’s house (the Kaaba) as a place of worship, it was completed according to the command. Abraham pleaded with God to make himself and his son Ishmael submit to God’s will: if He required anything, they would do it, and if God forbade anything, they would abstain from it.

This is the root of the common beliefs and cultures of Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Moses did not found Judaism, but he came to proclaim the belief in one God and set the rules for the life of believers in God. When Moses left, the written teachings of Moses were damaged, so the scholars of the children of Israel tried to compile new ones that deviated from the original, which became the scriptures of the religion called “Judaism.”

That is why the merciful and guiding God sent Jesus or Isa to confirm the original law, that is, belief in one God and obedience to His law that Moses brought. Jesus did not found Christianity, just as Moses did not found Judaism. And nowhere in the Bible does Jesus declare himself to be God or the son of God.

After Jesus, God’s original law began to deviate again because the idea of “Trinity” replaced the belief in one God.

For this reason, 570 years after the time of Jesus, God gave the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad as a guideline for life that covers all aspects of human behavior from birth to death. It is a moral standard in terms of family, society, and knowledge of the unseen such as spirits, hell, heaven, angels and Satan, etc. And God intended the Quran to be a code of conduct for human life until the end of the world.

The word Islam was never called by any prophet before the Prophet Muhammad. Towards the end of his life, God told him, “Indeed, the way of life that belongs to God is Islam” (Quran 3:19) and “This day I have perfected My favor upon you, and I have pleased you with Islam as a guideline for you, and I have pleased you with Islam as a guideline for you” (Quran 5:3).

Therefore, Islam is not called the religion of Muhammad, but Islam is a way of life that God has given to mankind since the first human being on this earth, Adam, and was completed during the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Religious practices are only part of the way of life that keeps Muslims on track until their last breath.
