ในคัมภีร์กุรอานซูเราะฮฺ(บท)ที่ 16 วรรคที่ 68-69 มีข้อความกล่าวว่า

(68) พระผู้อภิบาลของสูเจ้าได้ทรงดลใจผึ้งว่า “จงสร้างรังของพวกเจ้าตามภูเขา ต้นไม้และร้านที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้น 

(69) แล้วจงกินน้ำหวานจากผลไม้ทุกชนิดและปฏิบัติตามที่พระผู้อภิบาลของพวกเจ้าได้ทำไว้” จากท้องของมันจะมีของเหลวหลากกลิ่นสีออกมาซึ่งในนั้นเป็นสิ่งบำบัดโรคสำหรับมนุษย์ แท้จริงแล้ว นี่เป็นสัญญาณสำหรับหมู่ชนที่ใช้ความคิด (กุรอาน 16:68-69)

ในอายะฮฺที่ 68 มีการพูดถึงผึ้งด้วยถ้อยคำจำนวน 16 คำ ดังนี้

وَ- أوْحَى – رَبُّكَ – إلى – النَحْلُ – أنّ – اتَّخِذِيْ – مِنْ – الْجبَالِ – بُيُوْتا – وَ – مِنْ – الشّجرِ – وَ – مِمَّا – يَعْرِشُوْن .

ถ้อยคำในคัมภีร์กุรอานดังกล่าวทำให้เราเห็นว่าผึ้งได้รับการนำทางจากพระเจ้าให้สร้างบ้านของมันในภูเขา บนต้นไม้และโครงสร้างที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้น  บ้านของผึ้งหรือรังผึ้งเป็นโครงสร้างที่มีลักษณะแข็ง ปากทางเข้ารังผึ้งมีลักษณะเป็นหกเหลี่ยมที่ทุกด้านยาวเท่ากัน ในรังผึ้งข้างในเชื่อมโยงติดต่อกัน

ท่านนบีจึงกล่าวว่า “อัลลอฮฺตรัสจริง และท้องของน้องชายท่านโกหก  จงกลับไปและให้เขากินน้ำผึ้งอีก”  เมื่อเขากลับไปคราวนี้ เขาได้ให้น้องชายของเขากินน้ำผึ้งอีกและน้องชายเขาหายจากโรคท้องร่วง" 

ท่านนบีมุฮัมมัดเคยกล่าวว่า “การรักษาพบได้ในสามสิ่งนี้ คือ การกรอกเลือดด้วยถ้วยแก้ว การกินน้ำผึ้งหรือการจี้ด้วยเหล็กร้อน  แต่ฉันห้ามอุมมะฮฺของฉันมิให้ใช้การจี้ด้วยเหล็กร้อน

Bees make wax from their wings and spit honey out of their mouths, and the next morning they fly again into the open fields.

The Quran goes on to say that honey comes in many colors and scents based on the pollen of the flowers it brings, and that honey also has medicinal properties for humans.

It is recorded in the hadith that during the time of the Prophet Muhammad A man came up to him and said, “My brother is sick because of diarrhea,” the Prophet said. “Give him honey to eat.” The man went back and did as the Prophet suggested. After that, he came back to him and said: "The Messenger of Allah I have given him honey. but his condition worsened.” The Prophet said, “Go back and let him eat honey again.” “His condition was getting worse.”

The Prophet then said: “Allah has spoken the truth. and his brother's stomach lied Go back and give him honey again.” When he returned this time, He gave his brother some honey again, and his brother recovered from diarrhea.”

The Prophet Muhammad used to say “Healing is found in three things: a cup of blood. Eating honey or tickling with a hot iron But I forbid my ummah from using a hot iron hijack.

There is another mathematical wonder from the number of Surah 16.

Surah 16 has a total of 128 ayah (16x8).

Surah 16 contains 2,080 words (16x130).

From the beginning of Surah 16 to Ayah 68 talking about bees, there are 992 words (16x62).

The number of words from Bee to the last word of Surah is 1,088 words (68x16).

Why is it 68?

The answer is that only Ayah 68 mentions bees.
